Contents of search fields

Project category : Search libraries’ projects and activities via six categories covering the main areas of libraries’ activities.

Field : Search libraries’ projects and activities by type of library or librarianship sector according to the IFLA sections categories. (http://www.ifla.org/act-serv.htm#Sections)

Target population : Search libraries’ projects and activities by type of population served.

Country : Search libraries’ projects and activities by country concerned. The the country names are those used by UN.

Continent : Search libraries’ projects and activities by continent.

WSIS Category : Search libraries’ projects and activities by general WSIS categories, using the terminology prepared for the WSIS inventory of activities. The equivalents in French or Spanish are available at the following addresses:

Project description

Describes the project in detail, usually in English, more rarely in another language (Latin scripts only) with a summary in English (French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese etc.)

Illustration

Usually a photograph of activities or services for the public. If a portal is available it will usually be the sites homes page.

Print

The detailed description may be printed out.
